My solution came in the form of the call center tinnitus Force X3 wireless gaming headset. Sound is transmitted to this unit using infrared signals from a transmitter stationed near your source. That sends an incredible message! It expresses how much you, the technologically challenged friend, appreciate and take part in the HAM wackiness. Not because you love radios, but because you love your friend. Ahhh!
